We utilize a dental microscope to magnify problematic areas of your mouth and provide you with more precise treatments to improve your oral health. Dental microscopes provide a very clear picture of your mouth, enabling us to see the tiniest details and to provide effective treatments.
We use CT scanning (cone beam imaging) to capture complete images of your teeth and supporting structures, as well as other orofacial areas. CT scanning is used to diagnose and treat TMJ disorders, airway deficiencies; for bone remodeling after extractions and abscesses, and more.
Digital X-rays help our dentist closely examine your teeth and supporting structures for tooth decay and other problems, and to plan treatments to restore your oral health. Digital X-rays are completely safe, and use up to 90% less radiation than film radiography.
When you visit our office for your non-surgical periodontal treatment, our dentist uses an endoscope to perform your treatment in a comfortable and effective manner. By using this advanced technology, we can provide you with a non-invasive alternative to gum surgery, deep dental cleanings, and other procedures.
When examining your teeth, our dentist may use an intraoral camera to take close up, detailed images of the inside of your mouth. Not only do intraoral cameras help us to closely check your teeth and gums for problems, but the pictures are projected onto a nearby screen so that you can see and understand what is happening inside your mouth.
One of the advanced technologies featured at our office is a TENS (Transcutaneous Electric Nerve Stimulation) Unit. TENS is a form of electronic muscle therapy that works to provide pain relief and assess your muscle tone as part of your TMJ treatment.
